VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 12, 1916
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman on Wednesday April 12,
1916
Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, E.E. Scott, E.J. Keegan, F.M. Plank Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne,
Clerk.
Visitors C.S. Wheaton, F.D. Waterman
The following bills were presented in connection with repairs on South
to Bridge over Elk River damage being caused by water from gates of
dam. These bills were paid under protest until it is decided who the blame rests upon.
On motion the following bills were allowed in connection with the above damage.

seconded by E.J. Keegan Trustee his request was granted. Roll call.

It was taken as the sense of the meeting that C.F. Fiman Pres get into communciations with the
State Highway Com. Engineer and get his opinion in regard to necessary repairs to be made on
South Abutment to Bridge over the Elk River before doing much labor on same.
The official bond of W.F. Chadbourne Village Clerk was accepted unanimously and placed on file.
Some talk was made pro and con in regard to holding a special election to vote on Bonding the
Village for Water Works but nothing was decided upon.
