VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
May 10, 1916
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Wednesday May
10, 1916.
Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, E.J. Keegan, F.M. Plank Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by Pres at 8:15.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and declared carried to Clerk
was ordered to draw warrants for same.
O.J. Whitnau 25.00
F.M. Plank 14.09
C.E. Falk and Co 18.35
C.F. Fiman ex 6.53
E.R. Garage 6.00
John Hamlet offered to furnish man and team to care for streets in Village and do such other
business as council may direct for the sum of 100.00 per month for 5 months. On motion of F.M.
Plank seconded by E.J. Keegan proposition accepted.
On motion the Pres. appointed F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne Clerk a
committee to look after replacing sidewalk on South side of Blk (23) in front of F.M. Nickerson and
Geo E Page residence.
Clerk was instructed to notify Bi-lateral Hose Co in regard to purchasing 250 ft hose for fire engine.
No further business adjourned.
