VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 9, 1916
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman Pres on Wednesday
evening Aug 9, 1916.
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, E.E. Scott, F.M. Plank Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
The Elk River Power and Light Co having put up two more street lamps one on Princeton St at
intersection of South St and one at intersection of Depot St and Hope St. The Clerk was instructed
to pay said E.R. Power and Light 2.00 per month for each light.

The E.R. Power and Light Co were ordered to put up another street light at the corner of 4 Street
and Elm St at the cost of 2.00 per month for light.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed Clerk ordered to draw orders for same
