VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 16, 1915
A Special meeting of Village Council was held at the office of C.F. Fiman on Friday July 16, 1915.
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, F.M. Plank, E.E Scott, E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne
Clerk
F.D. Waterman and C.S. Wheaton
Meeting called to order by President at 8:30 P.M.
F.D. Waterman presented his Bond in the sum of two thousand ($2000.00) dollars and asked that it
be accepted and that the President of Village Council and Clerk sign his contract for lighting Village
and also Ordinance No. 64 and 65.
The following Resolution was presented
Resolved. That the bond to the Village of Elk River Minnesota made by F.D. Waterman as principal
for 2000.00 dated July 15 – 1915, with Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland as surety. Filed
with the Village Clerk on the 16 day of July 1915 be and the same is hereby approved and the
President and Clerk are authorized and directed to so note on said bond. Passed by unanimous vote.
Thereupon the President and Clerk proceeded to and did sign Ordinance 64 and 65 also contract of
said F.D. Waterman is presence of witnesses and delivered contract to said F.D. Waterman.
