VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 11, 1915
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Wednesday Aug 11, 1915.
Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, F.E. Plank, E.J. Keegan, Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk
The following bills were presented and allowed.

W.F. Chadbourne 2.35
Walter S. Booth and son 1.00
Robert Adams 8.85
C.F. Fiman 2.05
A.N. Dare 32.95
Arthur Jouso 2.50
C.F. Fiman for relief of Mrs. Goodin 60.00
In the matter above mentioned (Mrs. Geo Goodin) on motion duly made seconded and carried it
was decided to aid said Mrs. Goodin now a the Walker Sanatorium to the extent of 60.00.
The Standard Oil Co of Indiana asked for a permit to erect a filing station at end of Miss. River
Bridge on Lot 4
On motion Clerk instructed to issue same.
J.C. Hulbert asked for permit to build a so called fire proof store building on Princeton St adjoining
Bank of Elk River on motion permit granted. This building being within the fire .
Plans and specifications were filed for inspection. No further business adjourned.
