10-13-1915 VCM VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING October 13, 1915 A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Wednesday evening Oct 13, 1915. Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, E.E. Scott and E.J. Keegan Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. F.D. Waterman, Jos F. Aud and C.M. Babcock visitors. Meeting called to order by President at 8:30 P.M. C.M. Babcock Pres State Highway com. Presented a blue print and copy of contract with G.N. Ry. Agreeing to haul free of charge 25 cases of crushed rock from St. Cloud mine if the Village of Elk River would agree to cover right of way of said G.N. Ry is shown on blue prints. On motion proposition accepted and president authorized to sign contract (vote unanimous). C.M. Babcock was tendered a vote of thanks by Council for securing this broken stone at no cost whatever to village. The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and declared carried by Pres. The clerk was instructed draw orders for same. C.F. Fiman cash paid 1.23 John Becker team 3.50 A.A.
