Background/Discussion
The Bank of Elk River has contributed funds to support the Riverfront Concert Series operated by the Elk River
PaYks and Recreation DepaYtment and was Yecognized at the OctobeY 16, 2023, City Council meeting foY their 15-
yTear parmership with the cityT.
Attached is a resolution acknowledging The Bank of Elk River for their contYibutions toward the next three years,
2024, 2025, and 2026.
Attached is an agYeement foY a three-yrear contYact between the cityr and The Bank of Elk RiveY to sponsor the
RiveYfront Concert series for the next three tireaYs.
Financial Impact
The financial contribution is in the amount of $25,000 for the 2024 season, $26,000 for the 2025 season and
$27,000 for the 2026 season.

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the communityT; and
WHEREAS, the City- of Elk River will receive $25,000 in 2024, $26,000 in 2025, and
$27,000 in 2026 donations from The Bank of Elk River with the intent it be used byT Parks
and Recreation for the Riverfront Concert Series in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CityT Council, byT at least four-fifths
vote, to ackno`vledge the support and commend The Bank of Elk River for their donations.

Dear Julia:
This letteY of contract is to formalize the agreement between The Bank of Elk River and the Cityr of Elk River
regarding the sponsorship of the Riverfront Concert Series.
The term of the contract shall be for three years including the 2024, 2025 and 2026 concert seasons. The Bank
of Elk River shall contribute annually to secure the exclusive sponsorship rights of the Riverfront Concert
series as follows:

The annual sponsorship benefits `vill include:
1. Sole corporate sponsor of the Riverfront Concert Series.
2. The development of a marketing plan incorporating The Bank of Elk River sponsorship. The plan
will be developed in conjunction with The Bank of Elk River staff to ensure all groups are informed
and in agreement of marketing methods being utilized.
3. A Resolution accepting the three donations �vill be held at a Cit�T Council meeting.
4. r� commitment to bring in high quality bands for each yTear with consideration of theme nights and
engaging activities.
5. The Bank of Elk River `vill receive a free Orono Park pavilion reservation once each yTear for their
annual summer picnic.
First right of refusal to sponsor anyT other major Elk River Park and Recreation Department events
that incorporate major corporate sponsors.
In the event either party wishes to terminate the contract within the three-year operational period, notification
needs to be provided no lateY than SeptembeY 1 prioY to the next summeY conceYt series.
