Approve, byT motion, the 2024 Park Maintenance Division equipment replacement purchases as scheduled in the
Capital Improvement Plan.
Background/Discussion
The Park Maintenance Division requests authorization to proceed with the purchase of a Kromer pro field
maintainer tractor, a Toro 5910 `vide area mo`ver, and t�vo Toro Z-master zero-turn mo`vers. The mo`ving
equipment is vital to the turf and athletic field maintenance of the cityT's park and trail system, while the Kromer is
utilized to applyT paint striping for athletic fields.
These purchases are planned in the 2024-28 Capital Improvement Plan and budgeted in the 2024 Equipment
Replacement Fund for Yeplacement of e�sting equipment The e�sting equipment will be traded or auctioned with
revenue going back into the Equipment Replacement Fund.
The purchases will be through current state contracts.
Financial Impact
$236,498.91 from the 2024 Equipment Replacement Fund.
Mission/Policy/Goal
Replacement of this equipment will help to ensure a sustainable cit�T fleet to provide exceptional service in the
areas of park, athletic facilit�T, and trail maintenance.
