Action Requested
Approve, by motion, a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License to the City of Elk River for Elk RiverFest scheduled
on July 27, 2024, with the condition alcohol must be confined to an area enclosed by a fence with a secured,
controlled access. Wristband control is required for patrons 21 and over.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Department applied for a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License for Elk RiverFest
scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The beer garden will be open from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Main Street between Jackson Ave and King Ave. The
area will have the required fencing and will be restricted to ages 21 and over.
