Action Requested
Nominate, and elect, by motion, the HRA Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary for 2024.
Background/Discussion
Per HRA bylaws, the positions of chair, vice chair and secretary are elected annually. In 2023, the officer positions
were appointed as follows:
Chair – Dennis Chuba
Vice Chair – Jennifer Wagner
Secretary – Nate Ovall
The bylaws state the following regarding each position:
Chair: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall preside at all meetings of the commissioners, and
shall have general charge of and control over the affairs of the Authority subject to the approval of the
commissioners.
Vice Chair: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall preside at all meetings in the absence of the
chair and shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the commissioners.
Secretary: Shall be selected from among the commissioners, shall be responsible for reviewing the minutes of each
meeting of the Authority, and shall also perform such functions as may be deemed necessary by the Chair.
