Resolution 24-05
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River will receive $25,000 in 2024, $26,000 in 2025, and
$27,000 in 2026 donations from The Bank of Elk River with the intent it be used by Parks
and Recreation for the Riverfront Concert Series in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend The Bank of Elk River for their donations.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Wagner and duly seconded by Councilmember Grupa, and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Beyer, Grupa. Wagner
and Wes ,card and the following against: None, whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Beyer, Grupa, Wainer
and Westgaard and the following absent: None
Passed and adopted this 16`' day of January 2024.
