Review the policy and provide comment
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This month commissioners are reviewing policy G.2b — Governing Style to make comments, ask
questions, or recommend updates.
This policy establishes an institutional philosophy and approach that will allow the Commission
to govern with excellence. It lays out 13 principles of governance that commissioners will
adhere to, including periodic evaluation and discussion of its policies. This monthly review of
one policy from the Commission manual, which began in January of 2023, helps the
Commission meet that standard.
