Approve, by motion, the engagement of Pam Whitmore as a legal counsel on employment law issues.
Background/Discussion
Staff recommends hiring Pam Whitmore to consult on employment law issues at an hourly rate of $350.00/hour.
Ms. Whitmore is employed with the firm Kennedy & Graven, Chartered with over 20 years of experience in local
government law.
She would be utilized to assist in areas on behalf of our city attorney.
Financial Impact
Incurred fees would be attributed to general legal budget for items that are considered general in nature and to the
respective department
