Accept, by resolution, a donation of synthetic turf from the Elk River Youth Baseball Association.
Background/Discussion
The turf was previously used by an indoor facility and is in good condition. There are five rolls of turf that can be
used to improve the batting cages at the PT Complex. This is a surface area that has historically been a challenge
to grow grass and control weed growth. Staff can provide in-kind services related to the installation of the turf.
Similar rolls of turf were installed by park maintenance staff near fields 5 and 6 in the past.

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River accepting a Turf
donation from the Elk River Baseball Association.
WHEREAS, The turf was previously used by an indoor facility and is in good condition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: accepts the turf donation from the Elk River Baseball
Association with great appreciation.
