Resolution 24-15
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Amending the
Comprehensive Plan to Add Industrial and Public/Semi-Public Classifications
to Outlot A, ER Ventures Addition
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 27, 2024, and
recommended approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for Outlot A, ER
Ventures Addition, as depicted in Exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan Amendment request
and finds the following:
1. The proposed land uses are consistent with the surrounding uses.
2. The uses will not have adverse impacts on the surrounding uses.
3. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted Comprehensive
plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: The Comprehensive Plan be amended to extend the Industrial
and Public/Semi-Public land use classifications through Outlot A, ER Ventures Addition to
the right-of-way with Highway 169.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of March 2024.
