A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Saturday July 13 1918
Present – C.F. Fiman, Pres, F.M. Plank, E.E. Scott and E.J. Keegan Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne

Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8:30 P.M.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed
W.F. Chadbourne expense of Primary Election June 17 31.00
E.R. Power and Light Co installing st light 28.41
Hains Bros service flag 47 stars 17.00
Frank Ebner assessor 1918 109.50
E.R. Garage storage fire engine 5.00
H.C. Hastings street grading 27.00
Special Police July 4, 1918 40.00
E.R. Lumber Co lumber for planking E.R. Bridge 187.42
Carl Roggatz work on E.R. Bridge 6.30
R. Remke work on E.R. Bridge 6.30
E.J. Keegan work on E.R. Bridge 2.50
E.N. Daly Co gutter and curb use in front of garage 75.00
William Iliff street work hauling 27.00
Resolved, that the sum of 25.00 be appropriated for use of Community Clerk in caring for the rest
room. Clerk instructed to draw order for same.
The Clerk was instructed to have an Ordinance drawn up licensing dogs fixing license at 5.00 for
females and 3.00 for males with penalty of 10.00 for females and 5.00 for males and present same
for adoption at the next meeting.
On motion the resignation of C.F. Fiman Pres was accepted.
Motion was made by F.M. Plank Trustee seconded by E.J. Keegan Trustee that E.E. Scott Trustee
be appointed to fill vacancy made by the resignation of C.F. Fiman until the next Village Election.
Ayes F.M. Plank, E.J. Keegan. Noes E.E. Scott. E.E. Scott was declared elected.
