VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 10, 1918
A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of F.M. Plank of Sat. Aug 10 1918
Present – E.E. Scott, Pres. F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8:30 P.M.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and declared carried were
allowed.
J.D. Adams Co (blade for grader) and freight 9.02
E.R. Garage in account of fire engine 9.70
Reed and Sherwood lumber for bridge sidewalk 7.73
F.M. Plank expense of flag dedication 25.00
P.M. Morneau .60
Davis Bros flag dedication 5.56
Mrs. Bresler .60
Abner L’Herault fixing scales .75
Carl Roggatz st work 6.00
R. Remke 1.50
E.J. Keegan 15.00
F.M. Plank Trustee was appointed a com. To procure sign for street.
On motion of F.M. Plank seconded by E.J. Keegan the Clerk was instructed to draw an order on
Village Treas. for the am’t of 200.00 to aid the County Fair to be held in Oct 1918.
