VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 6, 1919
A Special meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Thursday March 6 1919
Present – E.E. Scott, Pres. F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 10 A.M.
The following resolution was presented
Whereas, a petition in due form has been presented to the board of County Commissioners of the
County of Sherburne State of Minnesota, praying for a change in State Road Number One, said
County and State which change would locate said road partly in the unplatted portion of said Village,
viz; on a line parallel with the Great Northern Railroad Thirty Three (33) feet south of the west
boundary line of the right of way of said Railroad, between between the Corporate limits of said
Village and the East line of lot five (5) of Block eight (8) said Village, County and State.
Now therefore, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Elk River that said petition
and the location of said road in the unplatted portion of said Village be and the same is hereby
approved.
On motion of F.M. Plank Trustee seconded by E.J. Keegan Trustee the above resolution was
declared carried by the Pres.
No further business meeting adjourned.
