VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 31, 1919
A Special meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Monday Mar 31, 19
Present – E.E. Scott, Pres, F.M. Plank and E.J. Keegan Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 10 o’clock A.M.
This meeting was called for the purpose of allowing all bills contracted by the present Council
before turning over books to their successors April 1, 1919 and approving the Bonds of Village
Clerk and Justice of the Peace.
The Bond of William Norval for Village Clerk was presented examined on motion bond accepted
and placed on file.
The Bond of H.C. Hastings for Justice of the Peace was presented examined, on motion bond
accepted and placed on file with the Clerk of Court.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed and orders drawn for same immediately.
Sherburne Co Star News printing financial statement 50.25
Geo H. Tyler atty. fees on Right of way matter 11.00
Minn State Firemans Ass’n dues 1919 2.00
No further business meeting adjourned
