VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 10, 1919
The regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Office of the Elk River Lumber Co on

Tuesday the 10 day of June 1919
Members Present as follows.

President called meeting to order at 8:30 o’clock
The following bills were presented and on motion by Bert Carr and seconded by E.J. Keegan that
these bills be allowed and warrants drawn by the Clerk to pay the same. Motion declared by the
President carried.
1723 J.D. Plante goods to Mrs. Geo Martineau (May) 26.61
1724 Elk River P&L Co bill for repairs 4.20
1925 Vernon Cemetery dues for 2 lots for 1919 @ 2.00 4.00

The Council then proceeded to vote on a Resolution from Wells Dickey Co Mpls calling for a
Special Election to be voted on by the voters of the Village of Elk River to issue bonds for the
following purposes $32,000.00 to be used to construct a system of waterworks for said Village of
Elk River and the balance of $8,000.00 to be used to fund the Village indebtedness, the Resolution
was then read and approved by the Council a copy of which is filed in the Office of the Village
Clerk.
