VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING

Special meeting of the Village Council held at the Office of the Elk River Lumber Co on June 23
1919 said meeting was called as a Board of Equalization to look over the Books of F. Ebner Village
assessor as called by Law to hear any complaints of assessment if any or other business.
There were present J.H. Virgin, President of Council, Wm Norval, Clerk and Frank Ebner, Assessor.
Meeting called to order at 9 o’clock A.M. The board proceeded to examine the assessors books for
assessment of 1919 and remained in session until 5 o’clock P.M. when they reported that the
assessment (appeared) to them as fair and just and that no complaints had come before the board,
the following resolution was offered by J.H. Virgin.
Be it resolved that the assessment books of Frank Ebner as Village assessor were found to be
satisfactory and that the assessments therein contained fair and just. Seconded by Wm Norval and
Council
June 23 1919 5 P.M. The Board adjourned.
