Approve, by motion, the Natural Resources Management Plan with the recreational amenity locations discussed at
the March 13, 2024, meeting.
Background/Discussion
The Commission reviewed the Natural Resources Management Plan during their regular meeting on March 13, 2024
Additional features were added based on the commission’s direction:
A future shelter placed at the end of the gravel road and the lower west side where the three trails meet like
an X spaghetti junction.
A boat launch along the river trail as shown in the aerial exhibit.
The Natural Resources Management Plan was approved by the Commission on December 13, 2023. Included at the
meeting will be the signature page for the updated revision.
Financial Impact
None. Any grant funding for restoration work must be agreed upon by the city and the FMR.
