SWOT ANALYSIS – March 2024
SWOT is an analysis tool to help explore areas for change and growth by developing strategic plans
to reach our organizations goals. Each team member completed this survey anonymously based on
how they view things today. The key findings are as follows:
STRENGTHS
Offering a welcoming and hospitable environment for the diverse needs of our user groups,
community members, and guests.
Friendly employees working as a team to provide excellent guest service.
Hardworking staff that strive to keep the facility clean and equipment in prime condition.
Proximity to the high school for afterschool programing.
WEAKNESSES
Poor channels of communication.
Inefficient workplace through leadership deficiencies within the organization.
Operational challenges in workflow disorganization and accountability.
Cleanliness is lacking and needs prioritization with additional resources.
OPPORTUNTIES
Improve workflow efficiencies by optimizing our allocation of staff resources.
Internal food service and catering capabilities with the addition of liquor sales.
Community sports/group fitness/education programming, specifically the hard court.
Improve communication, accountability, and leadership.
THREATS
Conflicting ideas of what our facility should become long-term.
Staffing, keeping quality help.
During our busy season it’s hard to keep the building looking nice.
The number of children left unattended in the building.
