• Working through maps for the new GIS mapping system that we plan to move forward
with in the future.
• 1 have been attending weekly Advanced Metering Infrastructure meetings along with
other ERMU staff.
• Working through 2024 projects and 2024 equipment/material needs.
• Lineworkers Matt, Tyler, and Alex P. placed 22" d out of 64 teams in the American Public
Power Association's Lineworker Rodeo in Lafayette, LA last month.
• Journey Lineworker Tyler Meyers' last day with ERMU was May 3. He will be joining
Connexus' staff.
• We are advertising for a 1000-hour apprentice lineworker position for the 2024
construction season.
• 1 attended the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association's Underground School in
Marshall on Thursday, May 9 to talk about some of the protective grounding rule
changes.
• Some of ERMU's management team joined the Energy City Commission for a tour of the
Xcel Energy nuclear power plant in Monticello.
• ERMU had its first full -staff leadership training, with Lisa Negstad on Thursday, April 25.
• Mark and I met with the new CEO of Connexus, Sidney Jackson.
• We had an intern from the lineworker program out of the Wadena campus work with us
for 96 hours.
• We are dealing with Highway 169 Redefine project issues that have come up.
