BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This month commissioners are reviewing policy G.2e1— Conflicts of Interest to make
comments, ask questions, or recommend updates.
This policy establishes the expectation that commissioners and employees will refrain from any
activity which creates a conflict between their private interests and their responsibilities to
ERMU. The policy provides examples of conflicts, enforcement procedures, as well as
acceptable parameters for contracts with ERMU commissioners and employees along with
sample resolutions and affidavits.
