A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Support for Greater
Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission- Legacy Funding
Application for Development of the Great Northern Regional Trail
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River, as a joint applicant/partner of the Great Northern
Regional Trail, fully supports the proposed trail development application and authorizes the
applicant's submission on behalf of the partnership.
WHEREAS, as a joint applicant/partner, we are fully aware of the information provided
in the application and associated responsibility, including funding and maintenance
commitments as defined in the funding application.
WHEREAS, as a joint applicant, we have the legal authority to enter into funding
agreements with the City Council for the referenced trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: listed joint applicant/partner certify they will comply with all
applicable laws and regulations associated with the grant funding for the respective portions
of the project
