Councilmember Jennifer Wagner, Committee Member Debbi Rydberg,
Committee Member Tamara Ackerman
Staff Present: Economic Development Specialist Josh Mollan, Economic Development Director
Brent O'Neil, and Communications Coordinator Klara Porath
1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. by Jennifer.
2. CONSIDER AGENDA
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Joanna to approve the agenda. Motion 5-0.
3. CONSIDER MINUTES
3.1 May 20th Meeting Minutes
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Joanna to approve the May 20, 2024 meeting
minutes. Motion 5-0.
4. GENERAL BUSINESS
4.1 169 Redefine Update
Josh shared that MnDOT is prepared to share a new closure of Main Street at Zane and Line.
MnDOT inquired about a ribbon cutting for the completion of 169 Redefine. Debbi and the Chamber
are supportive of assisting with a ribbon cutting.
Josh shared that the Maahs' Motors Reel has been posted and has received much attention. He and Jake
are set to shoot at MN Roots on the 18th.
4.2 General Updates and Budget Discussion
Josh shared that the banners are printed and will be dropped off to be stitched shortly.
Brent shared that the EDA will be working though their budget workshops and wanted to see what
things that the committee might want to consider for the upcoming budget.
Charlie suggested we look at additional marketing in 2025 to coincide with the highway opening.

Debbi suggested Google advertisements.
Jennifer suggested a gift card or a no-cash-value gift certificate giveaway as additional business support
campaigns.
Staff and committee members will continue to consider other ideas.
5. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Jennifer adjourned the meeting at 5:31 p.m.
