The approved 2006 budget includes money for a staff person to attend the International Institute of
Municipal Clerks (lIMC) Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled to be held in Anaheim,
California, May 14 - May 19, 2006, with pre-conference workshops occurring on Saturday, May 13.
Discussion
To maintain my Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation, I must complete a minimum of forty hours
of education, training or a combination of both, over a four-year period. By attending this conference, I
will obtain hours to apply towards recertification.
