The Elk River Police Department recently received a donation in the amount of $500.00 from the
Fraternal Order of Eagles to be used towards National Night Out.

A contribution in the amount of $500.00 was received towards National Night Out.

It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all C1V1C groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $500.00 donation from Fraternal Order of
Eagles with the intent it be used by the Elk River Police Department for National Night
Out; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
to acknowledge the support and commend the Fraternal Order of Eagles for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 6th day of February,
2006.
