ACTION REQUESTED:
Review the policy and provide comment
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
This month commissioners are reviewing policy G.3a — Controlling Authority to make
comments, ask questions, or recommend updates.
With policy G.3a, the Commission affirms that its authority to direct the General Manager
resides only in an official action supported by the affirmative vote of a majority of a quorum of
the Commission members during either a regular or a called special meeting.
Staff is not recommending any changes to the policy.
