Request to purchase a grapple bucket attachment for the Case 721 D loader.
Discussion
The purchase of a bucket for the new loader will give the capacity and dependability to keep up with the
contracted brush recycling machine, as well as an additional machine for wind storm clean up. This
attachment is available on the Minnesota state contract bid.
Financial Impact
The bucket cost is $13,390, and the quick coupler is $1,230. The total cost, including tax, is $15,570.30.
This purchase was identified in the 2006 budget with landfill funds as the financial source.
