Approve, by motion, the hiring of Megan Knopik to the position of Liquor Store Manager effective July 8,
2024.
Background/Discussion
We went to market to fill the Westbound Liquor Store position last August. When our Northbound Liquor
Store Manager resigned last month, we decided to go back to that pool of candidates to fill this position.
Following another interview, we recommend Megan Knopik for this position.
Ms. Knopik was a full-time liquor store clerk for us for five years. She left in May 2023 to gain management
experience in the municipal retail liquor industry, working as an assistant manager at Lake Liquors in Big Lake.
We are excited to have her rejoining our workforce.
Ms. Knopik will start at step A of pay grade 7E. All pay and benefits will be consistent with city policy.
Financial Impact
This is a budgeted position.
