The Council will interview candidates for the Parks and Recreation Commission. Appointments will be made
at a later meeting.
Background/Discussion
There is currently one vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission with a term ending 02/28/25. The
following will be in attendance to be interviewed:

■ Jake Krauth
There are vacancies on the following commissions as well:

Why are you interested I was a volunteer earlier in my career with the St. Paul Jaycees
in serving on a city where I planned and participated in many of their events. I
commission? served on their board as committee chair, and ultimately VP over
programs. I have always wanted to give back to my community.
While I don't live in Elk River I do work and have worked here, for
10 years. I wanted to get involved in the community to meet
individuals to strengthen my network of HR professionals; with
serving on the Board for the ERACC I have met a variety of
individuals. I participated in the Community Leadership program
offered through ERACC. I received a wealth of knowledge
regarding the history of Elk River during this event. I would like to
continue to be involved within the city.
