Appoint, by motion, Dornan Bland to the Planning Commission for a term from 9/ 1 /24 to 2/28/27.
Background/Discussion
There is one vacancy on the Planning Commission.
Interviews were conducted at the July 15, 2024, Council Meeting. Mr. Bland originally applied to the
Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission and the Heritage Preservation Commission, however, a vacancy
on the Planning Commission opened in the meantime. Staff inquired if the candidate was interested in filling
the new vacancy on the Planning Commission, in which Mr. Bland was interested.
