Background/Discussion
We went to market in June to recruit firefighters for this year's academy. We received 25 applications and
reviewed each for response time requirements. Each completed an interview, firefighter agility test,
background, physical, and psychological assessment. We recommend the above ten candidates for the
position of on-call firefighter.
This hiring brings our staffing level to 55. We have 60 authorized firefighter positions.

These are budgeted positions.
