Background/Discussion
Staff has been working with Acumen Business Solutions since late 2023 about hotel development
opportunities in Elk River. As conversations have progressed staff has invited Acumen to meet with the EDA.
While still in early stages, this is an opportunity to meet with Acumen and learn more about the steps
Acumen is taking regarding adding hotel capacity in the community.
