The Golden Shovel Team 2 Page 114 of 124 Gateway Developments and Upgrades Our development team continues working on upgrades and improvements to make your website more reliable and user-friendly.The below listed are the most recent additions to the Gateway platform: Major Updates ●Universal Searching is now a default user setting in modules: ○Previously the search box for every module functioned as a filter, meaning it only would look at what was displayed on the page.Pagination of module items made this problematic. ○Searching functionality now searches every module item regardless of pagination. ■Searching is limited to the module item Name and the Categor(ies) ○This can be turned back on to the filter functionality in the Users →My Account area.Just toggle Inline Filtering on to restore: ●Clients who don’t like the new pagination can opt to show up to 90 module items per page. ○Changing the number of items showing should be remembered by the user’s browser, but it is a cookie-type memory so it could be wiped if cookies are cleared. ●Popup-grid Templates Update:The popups are no longer logged in the browser history,so the back button now takes the user to whatever page they were on before opening the popup-grid page. 3 Page 115 of 124 ●Module Items Active Status:Most modules now have an Active toggle that can make a module item inactive (not appear on the website)instead of deletion. ○Please use this instead of the Approved toggle ○For most modules the toggle is at the top,but some modules have the toggle at the bottom of the module item listing. ○It’s also in the Action dropdown when looking at the View All for a module with this feature. ●Module Listing Open on Front-End:The same icon that is on Pages in the Admin to open the page on the front end has been added to module items. ○Clicking on the icon *should*open the listing on the front end ○This will only work if the module item has a published page where it is included. ○List Maker module items function somewhat differently, instead opening on the page where the listing *may*appear. If you need further details on any of the above listed upgrades, please feel free to contact your GateKeeper rep or email our support portal at support@goldenshovelagency.com 4 Page 116 of 124 Support and Resources Did you miss one of our webinars? You can watch the recordings at your convenience using the links below.
