A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION INDICATING CITY COST PARTICIPATION
IN IMPROVEMENTS ON TH 169 AT 221ST AVENUE
WHEREAS,
the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, proposes to build and
extend turn lanes, acceleration lanes, and cross-overs on Trunk Highway No.
169 from 193rd Avenue to near DeenNood Road (reference points 160.39 to
175.4) in the City of Elk River; and
WHEREAS,
the City has requested that the Minnesota Department of Transportation add left
and right turn lanes and two acceleration lanes near 221 st Avenue on Trunk
Highway No.169; and
WHEREAS,
the Minnesota Department of Transportation has requested the City participate in
the cost of the turn and acceleration lane construction at 221st Avenue which
will be included in the proposed construction project (State Project 7106-62).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Elk River, Minnesota, shall participate
in the costs of the additional work items on TH 169 near 221st Avenue as requested by the City.
