In November, locators processed 319 locate tickets. These consisted of 247 normal
tickets, 4 emergency tickets, 43 updated tickets, 8 cancellations, 10 meets, 2 boundary
surveys, 2 corrections, and 3 non -excavations. This resulted in a 37.0% decrease in
tickets from the previous month and a 24.8% decrease from the prior November.
• Electrical technicians completed 271 service order tasks, updated the power bill,
addressed customer meter issues and any off-peak concerns.
• The Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) residential water meters and residential
electric meters continue to be installed in new services. The electrical technicians have
been busy changing out meters around the system and recently completed the meter
installations at several different apartment buildings. Approximately 3,600 water meters
and 3,400 electric meters are currently active within our AMI system.
• Staff has been working on programming regulator controls for an upcoming 2025
replacement project at our North substation. We will be replacing all five recloser tanks
and controllers. Staff has also been working on programming capacitor bank controllers
as part of our replacement project that we anticipate will start in mid -December.
We are finalizing the control building and relay panel orders for the East substation. The
expected delivery of the building will be between the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026.
The panel is expected to arrive in the summer of 2025.
• Our monthly peak was 43.50 MW on November 26 at 5:44pm.
