CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting was called to order at 3:37 PM by Jennifer.
2. CONSIDER AGENDA
Moved by Dan and seconded by Jennifer to approve the agenda. Motion Carried 5-0.
CONSIDER MINUTES
3.1 July 15, 2024 Meeting Minutes
Moved by Ryan and seconded by Melissa to approve the July 15, 2024, Meeting Minutes.
Motion 4-0. Dan abstained.
4. GENERAL BUSINESS
4.1 Public Art
Josh gave an update on Carey Dean's project.
Josh shared that Deb wanted to share a presentation on the Junior Master Gardeners project.
Josh shared that a video highlighting the public art in the community has been published.
Josh advised that the Central Minnesota Arts Board public art grant deadline has been set for April 2,
2025. Moreover, he asked the committee what they would like to see for an upcoming project.
Ryan brought up hosting a chalk art event, or some other community event.
Nic suggested looking at local screen printer, Brian Geihl.
Jennifer suggested looking at local artist, Adam Turman.

4.2 Beautification Award
Josh advised that a bench for Edge Bar + Boutique has been ordered and should be ready for delivery in
the next couple weeks.
Josh shared that three nominations were received for the Beautification Award. Two for Wayne Swart
State Farm and one for Professional Karate Studios. He will continue to market the award at the
upcoming DERBA meeting.
4.3 General Updates
Josh asked the committee if they were still comfortable with the 3:30 — 4:30 start times.
The committee was okay with the current schedule.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Jennifer adjourned the meeting at 4:10 PM.
