Background/Discussion
The Downtown Elk River Business Association (DERBA) is requesting to implement a program in which the
members of the community could add their own decorations to the holiday tree in River's Edge Park. A
representative of DERBA will be present to discuss the idea and solicit feedback from the City Council.
DERBA also wishes to discuss their request for city permission to hang decorative string lighting across the
upper portion of the park, affixed to the adjacent private buildings on each side of the park.
