CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting was called to order at 3:45 PM by Josh.
2. CONSIDER AGENDA
Moved by Jennifer and seconded by Dan to approve the agenda. Motion Carried 6-0.
CONSIDER MINUTES
3.1 10-21-2024 Beautification and Public Art Committee Minutes
Moved by Ryan and seconded by Melissa to approve the October 21, 2024, Meeting
Minutes. Motion Carried 6-0.
4. GENERAL BUSINESS
4.1 Public Art
Josh shared the details of the public art reveal event
Dan shared that he had not heard back from the local banks regarding the sponsorship of Where Energy
Flows.
Josh shared that he will request the final $2,000 be covered by the EDA.
Jennifer suggested asking the Mayor to speak at the reveal event.
Josh advised that staff will continue to look into mural repair for the stucco at the Cinema Building.
Jennifer shared that mural repair at Rivers Edge Commons may be a City Council initiative.
Josh shared Noble Wins wind turbine benches as a potential project

The committee offered staff direction to weigh various public art styles and projects.
4.2 General Updates
Josh shared that Wayne Swart State Farm is on the EDA agenda for approval of the 2024 Beautification
Award.
Josh shared that in the coming months he will provide the Beautification Award policy for the
committee to review.
