HELD IN THE VILLAGE OFFICE BUILDING
May 15, 1973 at 7:30 PM.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Les Derr, Duane Becklin.
~ MEMBERS S~lY Matuseski, Bob Dahms, Stan Moreland, Dick Hales.
It was discussed that the Park Board would have the say as to the use of the fields,
. so no conflict of interest arise.
Insurance signed by Babe Ruth League from Dan Greene for approximately $2.00 ~er head.

Stan Moreland payed $128.00 on the insurance he will be reimbursed.
John Dietz authorized to buy $400.00 worth of equipment, more later and if money is
available.
Les Derr discussed phone conversation with George Zabee that the School Board would
go along with rental of school facilities not to exceed $50.00 per summer program, more
if school buildings were used to to take care of lights & maintenance.
Les Derr was assured by,phone conversation with Frank Madsen that the town boards
half share would be forth coming after June 4, 1973 their meeting night.
Bob Dahms was preseut gave facts & figures on swimming program. This program has been
underwritten by Village of Elk River. Lessons will start tentatively June 18, 1973
registration fee was kept at $3.00 with a $12.00 limit.
Bob Dahms mentioned that Bob Arnold, Wayne Becklin, Geraldine Christian would be
instructors. They all have water saf~ red cross instructors cards.
Next meeting May 30, 1973 at 7:30 PM.
