BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Les Derr, Gene Schuldt
GUESTS: John Dietz, Summer Rec. Program Director
John Dietz presented a list of equipment expense for Summer Rec. Program for
approximatly $240.00. He stated that very little additional equipment expense should
be required. J:ohn requested authorization to purchase of caps and shirts. Unused caps
and shirts will be retained for next year. John Dietz was also authorized to obtain
insurance coverage for Summer Recreation Program excluding the Babe Ruth baseball league.
Discussion was held on surveying registrations for Summer Rec. Program to determine
residence of kids outside of Elk River Village and Township for purpose of asking
other municipalities to share in costs.
John Dietz also reported that evening tennis class for adults has been established.
Payments of all bills was postponed until the next meeting.
Discussion was held on granting permission to St. Andrew's Church women's group to
use Orono Park for ice cream social public sales. Final decission tabled until next
meeting.
Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, 1973 at 7:30 PM. in the Village Office Bldg.
