ELK RIVER PARK BOARD MEETING
HELD IN THE CITY OFFICE BUILDING
April 4, 1974 at 7:30 P.M.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Les Derr, Shirley Matuseski, Gene Schuldt, Gene Scribner.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Don Strei, Wilbur Daniels.
GUESTS: Al Froehlich, Mrs. Higdon.
Al Froehlich presented his insurance program. He is going to check on the interchanging of
activities. He will also check on the ones considered dangerous sports and whether they will
be covered.
Mrs. Higdon was a professional dancer, she is willing to teach tap dancing, acrobatic
dancing, ballet. Up to ages 5 to 12 or 14.
Adrian Barnier has volunteered to help coordinate our program.
Les Derr is going to submit to Lloyd Brutlag what facilities our program will need from
the schools so a contract can be drawn up.
Its been tentatively decided on a $3.00 registration fee for the Recreation Program.
Les Derr is going to talk to Erwin Specht about the cost of using a bus.
Our next meeting will be April 18, 1974 at 7:30 PM.
Gene Scribner moved we adjourn, Gene Schuldt seconded it.
