I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic Development Authority
Together Elk River Subcommittee was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Jennifer.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Joanna to approve the agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
3. Consider Minutes
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Joanna to approve November 20,2023,Meeting Minutes.
Motion carried 4-0.
4.1 Visitor Marketing and Community Engagement
Josh introduced a community engagement software called Bandwango to determine if it would be a good fit
for our community and if the Together Elk River Committee should be involved.
Brent shared additional details on the software including pricing.
The committee determined that this software may not be a good fit for Elk River and was not interested in
hearing additional information.
4.2 Billboard Update
Josh shared that the previously approved billboards will run through December 26t.Josh then shared the
list of available billboards and their corresponding locations and prices.
Jennifer would prefer a static ad if a billboard was secured on I-94.
The committee requested that staff provide Placer.ai data to help determine the most effective billboard
location.
4.3 General Updates
Josh shared that January's meeting will fall on a Tuesday due to the MLK holiday.
