I . Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic Development Authority
Together Elk River Subcommittee was called to order at 5:09 p.m. by Jennifer.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Joanna to approve the agenda. Motion carried 3-0.
3. Consider Minutes
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Joanna to approve October 16, 2023, meeting minutes. Motion
carried 3-0.
4.1 Billboard Approval and Update
Josh shared the draft billboards.
The committee liked the proposed art but wanted to include additional language such as: "It matters" and
Make a difference"
Josh asked the committee if they were in favor to secure billboard space for next year. The committee
wanted staff to gather pricing and availability information from billboards in the area before making a
decision.
4.2 Visitor Marketing
This item was tabled until next meeting.
4.3 Downtown Banner Update
Brent shared that staff will be taking it from here after the committee determined banner art. He also shared
that ERMU is open to flipping the banners over the sidewalk so each banner could be rectangle.
4.4 169 Construction Update
Starr provided the committee an update on the 169 construction.
4.4 General Updates
Due to lack of time, this item was not discussed.

There being no further business, Jennifer adjourned the meeting of the EDA Together Elk River
Subcommittee at 5:29 p.m.
