I . Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority Together Elk River Sub -Committee was called to order at
4:41 pm by Jennifer Wagner.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Debbi to approve the agenda. Motion
carried 3-0.
3. Consent Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Charlie to approve the February 21, 2023
Meeting Minutes. Motion carried 3-0.
4.1 169 Construction Update
Brent provided MnDOTs update on initial impacts from the Hwy 169 construction.
Brent advised that Cory and Kati from ISD 728 are interested in maintaining a
connection with the Together Elk River Subcommittee and attending future
meetings.
Brent shared that meetings with Orange Ball will commence on Wednesday 3/22.
The team on that call will work quickly to get communication out on the upcoming
traffic impacts.
4.2 Committee Structure
Brent updated the committee on the potential restructuring of the Together Elk
River Committee. He shared concern regarding open meeting law. Further
discussion will be needed.
Charlie asked if staff have advertised the committee vacancies.
Brent opened the floor for suggestions for potential members.
Jennifer suggested Joanna from Maurices.
Debbi suggested Danielle from Abra.
Jennifer suggested each member supply two suggested candidates to staff for
consideration.
Brent advised that staff also do a general call for candidates.
4.3 Billboard Content Plan
Josh shared Starr's draft content plan. The committee had no major changes. Staff
shared the two draft art pieces. The committee provided minor wording changes and
suggesting having the Together Elk River logo in both pieces.
Charlie suggested looking into google advertising.
4.4 General Updates
Brent mentioned downtown banners but will be tabled until next meeting.

There being no further business, Jennifer Wagner adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Economic Development Authority Together Elk River sub -committee at 5:29
pm.
