I . Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the EDA Together Elk River Committee was
called to order at 5:01 p.m. by Josh.
2. Consider Agenda
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Joanna to approve the agenda. Motion carried 3-0.
3. Consider Minutes
Moved by Charlie and seconded by Debbi to approve March 18, 2024, Meeting Minutes. Motion
carried 3-0.
4.1 169 Redefine, Signage, and Marketing Update
Starr provided an update on 169 Redefine.
Josh shared Placer.ai data on Main Street traffic at the 169 junction.
Josh advised that Franklin has multiple changeable copy signs available for temporary use this summer.
Moved by Debbi and seconded by Charlie to approve moving forward with a purchase agreement
with Franklin Outdoor for a 4' x 8' changeable copy sign to be placed at Main and Gates for the
duration of the third year of 169 Redefine. Motion carried 3-0.
Josh shared that he started connecting with businesses along Carson Ave/St for the Facebook Reels
campaign. AJ Complete Automotive has agreed to participate pending scheduling.
The committee requested a note when the Reels are posted as well as connecting with the Star News for this
campaign.
4.2 General Updates
Josh shared that Tamara Ackerman applied to be a member of the Together Elk River Committee and will
be considered at the EDA meeting tonight.

There being no further business, Josh adjourned the meeting at 5:26 p.m.
