Wayne Beck1in will supervise the swimming program this year. In addition to Wayne Beck1in the additional full-time lifeguards will be Bob Arnold and Toni Ammend. Possible part-time lifeguards are Robin Kreuser and Monica Oss. Wayne thought the wages in 1974 for full-time lifeguards was $3.50 per your. Talked to Deputy Joe Cook, Sherburne County Sheriff's Department regarding backboard for First Aid equipment. Deputy Cook operates the Big Lake Ambulance Service. He will give us a backboard free of charge for use at the beach. March 30, 1975. Talked to Wayne Becklin and advised him of two applications being made for lifeguard; Patty Bailey and Janice Klein. Both are qualified as Water Safety Instructors. Wayne also said he checked into swimming lesson cost in the Metro Area and they are running approximately $6.00 per child. He advised raising our rates to $4.00 per child and a $10.00 maximum for three or more children in one family. This would not include adults and that fee would also be $4.00 per person. March 27, 1975. Talked to Chuck Savela, City Clerk, in regards to proposed pay increases fol;' all lifeguards. He advised that the City Council would not approve pay increases beyond $.25 per hour, except for Wayne Becklin's additional raise as Supervisor. With that in mind, the following pay schedule .
